What is it like to ride a 2Moto RadiX?
Our proprietary fork extension technology
creates an optimum performance system that holds a strong turning edge on side
hills and flats, allowing you to lay the bike down and drag your handlebar in
the snow, and provides quick agile turning response for those tight technical
spots. The fork extension is crafted from high grade 6061T-6 aluminum, formed
and welded into a box shell making it light and strong. It is easily attached
using your stock axle and brake mount and is braced on BOTH fork legs.
Adjustable Trail System... The Adjustable Trail System (?A.T.S?) is
adjustable to allow you to optimize the ski?s performance for razor-sharp
turning, high-speed trail stability, or whatever your riding style needs. The
ski mount bracket connects the fork extension to the ski and allows the ski to
pivot up and down to follow the terrain. The RadiX® employs a Simmons FlexiSki®
with side keels that carve into the snow for precise turning and
handling.
Got Suspension... 2Moto?s goal is to provide the most
controllable, plush, long-travel track suspension available. The RadiX® track
suspension features 10.5? travel at the front of the track, and up to 15? at the
rear. To do this, we must have the best shocks. 2Moto?s kits come complete with
a custom Öhlins primary shock, and a adjustable second shock. Custom tuning the
suspension is as easy as turning a clicker. Whether it?s your thing to blast
down whooped out trails, and land that big jump, make the best lap times, or
work your way through gnarly terrain, you can set up your suspension to work
just the way you want.
Jackhub... Want to throw 100 hp through your RadiX® system?
Bring it on. The RadiX® drive train is extremely efficient transferring power
to the snow. The RadiX® jackhub is machined from Billet aluminum and features 4
oversized internal bearings. 2MotoTM offers several accessory
sprockets to allow the snow bike to be geared down or up.
Drive Train System... The RadiX® high-end O-ring chains run in
super-slick durable guides that increase efficiency and keep the chain (and your
body parts) out of harm?s way. 2MotoTM uses high-strength, durable
Esjot sprockets in the RadiX®, the same kind that have proven themselves with
KTM and many other OEM manufacturers.
Track... 2Moto?s patented deep lug ?curved-paddle? track
design lets you carve the trail or float through the powder. The curve of the
paddle tips is crucial to providing a consistent feel as you lean your bike over
in turns. On hard pack, only the center lug touches the snow, giving it that
narrow ?dirt bike tire? feel. Off trail, the 2.1? deep paddles provide ample
traction. The track comes ready to receive optional track studs for better
traction in icy conditions.
Track Slide Rail... Our track slide rails are mounted as wide as
possible at the very edges of the track, enabling the track to bite into the
snow to easily hold a side hill or carve deep turns just like a snowboard edge.
2MotoTM uses industry-proven
UHMW track slides that are lightweight, inexpensive, and extremely efficient.
Combine this with our patented curved-paddle track and you have the best ON- and
OFF-trail performance.
2Moto?s patented track suspension employs a
proprietary linkage system that distributes the suspension force from the Öhlins
main shock to the front and rear of the track. The linkage allows the track to
pivot to keep the track in optimal contact with the snow over rough terrain or
in tight slingshot turns. The secondary shock provides damping for the fore/aft
pivoting of the track, and is adjustable to allow the rider to optimize traction
and suspension performance over a wide variety of terrain and riding
styles. 2MotoTM set out to
design a track suspension that rides and feels like the rear wheel and
suspension of your dirt bike. You?ll be surprised and pleased with how well it
works.
Swingarm Frame... Your stock motorcycle shock and swingarm are not
designed for the rigors of snow riding. 2Moto?s swingarm is hand crafted from
6061 T-6 aluminum and built specifically to handle hard flat landings, deep
heavy powder and big horsepower. We?ve even included a handy grab handle for
easy loading and moving.
