NC700S Model overview
The NC700S is the product of a simple requirement: to deliver a motorcy
cle that is fun to rideand user-friendly at a reasonable price. The NC700S offers the practicality of a commuter together with the thrilling handling and distinctive style of a naked motorcycle.
Handling is key to this motorcycle, and the NC700S offers a direct, intuitive, confidence-inspiring ride for all levels of experience. The low seat position adds to the accessibility of the machine. It is easy to use and versatile. The riding position gives a high degree of control and freedom.
NC700X Model Overview
The NC700X adventure bike offers the long-travel suspension, agility and commanding riding
position of an adventure bike in an overall package with high standards of stability, braking and engine performance. It promises a fun, engaging riding experience together with the practicality and ease of use that make it a machine eminently suitable for daily commuting. Both the NC700S and the NC700X are machines that are perfect for getting back to the fundamentals of motorcycling: fun and mobility

All-new innovative two-cylinder engine
These machines feature an engine that appeals to all kinds of riders, with its smooth,
responsive power and a strong low-rpm torque while still providing fantastic fuel-economy
numbers. In each case the result is a machine that takes no time at all to get used to with a
direct response bringing joy to anyone who rides it. This engine was developed to provide responsive power and strong torque in a compact package, the new 670cc inline two-cylinder engine also meets the demands of today's environmental concerns by being highly fuel-efficient (Approx. 27 km/litre) for a tank range of nearly 400km on the 14.1 litre fuel tank. The design also provides a low centre of gravity and very usable power delivery with strong levels of torque at low to medium rpm.
Versatility and practicality
With a lockable 21 litre internal storage compartment large enough to accommodate a full face helmet, the NC700S and NC700X are ready for anything, whether city or long distance riding.
Joyous and intuitive handling
Light in weight, pure and swift in motion, the NC700S and NC700X are fun and easy to handle.
Using a common rigid and compact steel diamond frame, the NC700S and the NC700X use
unique suspension packages to deliver a supremely adaptable chassis. The NC700X uses
longer suspension components to provide optimum ride quality over various road surfaces.
Styling
In keeping with a true naked look, the NC700S has minimalistic styling to emphasize its urban
application. The NC700X has a more rugged presence suggestive of its adventurous ambitions.
Transmission
A manual 6-speed transmission with a wet multi-plate clutch provides excellent rider control
whether commuting in the city or touring the countryside.
Secure C-ABS braking
Combined Antilock Braking System (C-ABS) is standard on both the NC700S and NC700X.
Unique to Honda, C-ABS provides safe and efficient stopping power in a wide variety of road
conditions. Front and Rear brakes are both operated by the rear brake pedal; however, the
front brake can be operated individually with the front brake handlebar lever.

The NC700X will be launched in: Darkness Black Metallic
