Steve's Tech Talk - Get Your Ride Ready!
Just a reminder that it is always wise to do a pre-trip check. Here are some of the things you may want to take a look at:
- Check all the fluid levels on the bike. Engine oil, coolant, and brake fluid. It's not likely these will change but it is always good maintenance.
- Be sure to check and adjust the tire pressures before you ride. It is quite normal to lose a significant amount of air from the bike just sitting so be sure to follow your owners manual for the proper pressures and set them at that.
- If you don't have a battery tender, we recommend you get one because it will help maintain the life of your battery (approx. $56).
- Make sure your bike is insured appropriately for this riding season!
We look forward to seeing you for your next maintenance appointment or tire change so you can get out there and ride safe in order to take advantage of a long riding season!
